Its fair easy,

I can do them for you, you just need to supply me with your diff centre, as i dont have a garage to store the car while the centre cools down.

Most guys who lock diffs at a shop only weld in through the 4 small holes located around the gears, this lasts about a month before she goes bang.

It will cost you how much the welding sticks cost me and some beer and you can have a diff welded up to its neck that will only break if you get the angle grinder out.

If you get it done at a shop make sure they are willing to pull it apart :)

You'll probably get a very good 240v system from bunnings for around $150*

*Number pulled out of ass, not sure on price.

All you need to weld is the gears inside the diff.

If you have your diff out im more then happy to show you what you need to do.

Basically once the diff is out, remove the crown and unbolt the top cap to get a decent view of the gears.

Weld the gears together as solid as possible, leave no gaps.

Let to cool, then tap away all the flaq and welds that didn't stick properly.

have another look at it and do any touching up to fill all holes.

Then put back together.

As i sed im more then happy to help you with it.
