G'day Daniel from sunshine coast here , just poped in to do some research and maybe some help, just bought my daughter a 1992 Daihatsu Mira nothing flash just some thing for a father daughter project "first car" NA carby job but surprisingly punchy for what it is. "manual", doing a full strip down a rebuild , paint , intirior etc etc. so been on the net hunting for some time and havent found much for this little beast , worked out the pcd is 4x 110 "i hope" not a lot out there !! maybe some ideas where i can find wheels or other makes models i can get some off ?? all so not wanting to go the hole kei class big body kit "not that i can find any" path but i am looking for some flairs and the rear window surround spoiler and posably just a lower lip for the front bar ?? any ideas ??

yeah bit of a project for my future fun , I use to own two suzuki swift GTI MK 1's, one oz delivered and one import fuk they were quick little cars so yeah all ways loved the micro machines espy when you smoke V8 in them :)

plan for this one keep it P plater leagal when she wants to up grade ill do a full rebuild of the motor and super charge it for a little more poke and maybe (if i can find it ) a 4wd set up??

ill post up some progress pix we got stuck into it today started to strip it down .

Hi guys just a thought , I was thinking about wheels the other day and remembering seeing 12" rims on this custom golf buggy which looked off the hook and started to do a bit of a search came accross a few options

trailer wheels Now they are legal to use on cars as long as the pcd is right and the center hole fits , they are rated higher in strength than standard wheels ?? thoughts

we did a bit more pulling appart today , ive got a week off so lets see how far we get.

this isnt going to be any sort of flash build just some thing different to get around in. was thinking of supercharging it any ideas what needs to be done to the motor itself ??

Ok we have decided to paint the car satin black ( semi gloss ) my daughter is doing a air brushing class and is going to paint some thing on the car when she masters it, we may hit it with a gloss clear after ??. all so was thinking about rim colour black on black ( i.e. black body black wheels ??) black on white ?? or black on red ??

all so what are your thoughts on sticker bombing or wraps ??

As far as i know we are going to do a red /black interior.

a few of the mini guys fit those buggy wheels for shows only. you can buy superlites from performance here really cheap, if your family is going to be driving the car you should use rims that have been adr approved.
wraps are over priced and sticker bombing are a personal preference type of thing.
hard to say what color rims without knowing what type of rims you'll end up with. personally i'd say stick with a white body and get some gold ssr mesh with polished lips.some black bolt on flares

yeah ill go proper adr rims was just looking funny thing is some of them rims have a load rating better than the stock rims on the car LOL

i was thinking the sticker bomb on the mirrors, door handles and rear number surround, oh !! and the roof lining inside the car ( just for some thing different ??)

i was thinking of staying white but she wants to go black and red but im leening toward black and lime green !!

basicly just high pressure cleaned every thing checked to see what needs replacing , checked for rust (wasnt any thank goodness), rust proofed , paint.
