how ever for our group buy they have offered us 10% off the unit price and combining shipping.
here is a copy of the email they sent back to me, depending on how many we buy we could get better rates still, best thing about this really is the shipping

Thanks for your reply.
The discount I could offer you would be the same for 5 or 10 units at 10% off the retail price.
This would reduce the cost per pair to £29.84
Carriage on five would be £109.00 and on ten £142.00.The carriage charges are estimated only as I would have to check the final weights and sizes but this quote will not be far out.
i would have the bulk lot sent to melbourne then ship out intersate orders via couriers we use at work which normally have a 1-3 day turn around. i'd have to get prices for that too but its always pretty cheap.

so far we have around 7 orders from forum memebrs, i'll update this with a list of confirmed names.
terms are payment in full before your order is taken seriously.

but i guess theirs comes from the alps and i guess it is pretty damn good - as far as water goes

i fill my bottles at the tap, however bottled water isnt too much of a con - but it is still more expensive than beer at a lot of places

seeing as we have 10 people interested now just did a calculation on figures.
current currency conversion came in at
cost of window visor 29.84 gbp= $51.21 aud.
shipping 142.00 gbp= $243.67 aud divided by ten = $24.36.
so this means your pair of visors will be landed in australia for $75.57. not bad huh. it would cost $168.42 aud if you bought these outside of the group buy.
for interstate orders we'll still need to organise your postage once it lands in australia, i'll send them via courier to your place once they arrive.

so should we wait to see if anybody else wants to jump in on the group buy or just leave it as an order of ten first time round?

Good news people, visors turned up today earlier then expected.
Melbournians drop me a pm to arrange a pickup.
Interstate peeps I had a brain storm and how about we nominate one person from each state to take delivery of a batch and then others can pick up from that person, will save on postage and gives you guys a chance to meet up.
Otherwise if that doesn't work out for you let me know and I'll individually box them up get a price for postage and send you a invoice for your postage.

Yeah makes winding windows up a bit stiff but they are very nice...are they supposed to go in where the window goes in or the inner seal? Like the oem visors?
