thought i'd chuck my new slap together up here... after abit of information so might aswell give ya's the run down.

Picked this shitbox up about a month ago, chucked a 4k in it... got lazy let it sit in the front yard for about a month... last week sometime i bought an Altezza and a Lexus off Dan and well... I thought i'd be able to register it but yeah nah, so stripped the Altezza and got the motor and box and have now put it into this little KE20

quickly pulled the 4k out and dropped the BEAMS from my KE10 into the KE20 and made sure it looked like it was going to fit without cutting anything.... Success

So i stripped the Altezza

cut the back of the sump off

Mounted the motor and nearly the box ( just waiting on the exhaust ) to finalise the mount.. Also did some wiring... looks easy so far.

Also made a tailshaft.... Bet ya didn't know an AE71 Auto tailshaft has the same yoke as the J160 6 speed gearbox...

I also chucked in a Kouki T series diff into the 20, That's a datsun 1200 ute tailshaft... they have the same flange as a T series and are also the same diameter as the Ae71 auto tail shaft which made it easy to cut and shut the two together.

Also have a look at my page for other cool shit!! '(^___^)

Anyway... it should be running soon.

WHO KNOWS ABOUT 3SGE BEAMS FUEL SYSTEMS - i know so far: they run at 62psi constantly, the stock altezza pump has an internal pressure regulator..

Am i able to just hook up a VL fuel pump without a regulator below the tank and it'll work or what, I don't want to go drifting in it, i know it won't surge because my old 4a ke20 just had a VL pump and it was mint.

Cheers jordain.
