Some of those defects are bs.

Seat torn u serious and the gear stick one is just dumb not to mention the sway bar one. So you need a Eng Cert to replace that is just bs

As if you weren't defected for noise?

making several posts in this section of the forum will not increase your post count. you could probably just put your questions into one post

theknickerbocker

yes because im so interested in participating in something as trivial as a post count... but seeing as that you have over 1800 you must be really into that... cheers for the tip lul

Could you post a list of defects please. Would like to work out a rough idea of what i'd need to do to get it roadworthy.

yeah makes no sense as you can purchase a unregistered car as well. Must be because previous owner broke the law and something legal like that

you can still sell it

irony is 4 of the cars in that pic we took at raleigh got sold, 2 that sold at the same time have both been defected... I wonder if the other 2 will suffer the same fate

Could you not cash in the rego. Then the new buyer re-register it with new plates

johl

pretty sure that loop hole closed many years ago and defects stick to the vin not the plates. a new vin number however….

I've still got mine :) comes to show where this is all headed too. people need to be more sensible with their cars.

i wouldn't pay more then $4000 for the amount of rust it must have now. i should know because i was the previous owner that built this car from scratch. Looks good on the outside only. Also getting defected for 16 items doesn't help any cars value, im suprised they didnt pick out the other illegal mods this car has. would be the 3rd time? this chassis has been defected.

it was worth a lot more when i had it, a lot more then what i sold it for. The things you did to it dropped its value so far you have no idea what you destroyed.

It was never entered into any Wakefield competition unless you entered one yourself
it does not have a Power FC ECU unless you bought one and installed it yourself

My offer still stands, shell looks like it would only be any good as a track beater so rust = weight reduction.

Matt

Not a mighty car mods fan perhaps?

Agreed the car looked pretty nice and good, but is a bit ruined now. 16 defects is some kinda record.

It looks nothing like the pics guys... I drove a long way and was pretty disappointed.

it a shame about this car , most legit thing on the road and built with tasteful mods only to be ruined by fads/stance and rice. *sigh* best of luck

in its hey day.
