Hey all,

This is my Black GTS. Ordered from Co-Op Toyota in Hobart, TAS in August 2012 (a week after my old man also ordered his Black GTS!). In the interim I moved to Brisbane, so when it arrived in March 2013 it meant an epic road trip back up :)

I made a clip of the road trip up, and what an epic road trip it was:

And of course, some pics - my 86 with Dad's 86 for a short cruise before I headed back up to the Sunny state:

The only mods so far are a stubby antenna, JPM Coachworks alcantara cluster cover, and Whiteline rear subframe bushings.

Going to focus on handling, at least initially - front strut brace, and front and rear swaybars to tighten things up a bit. I've also got a Whiteline positive shift bushing waiting to go in

There aren't many up in QLD.

I was one of a few who are ignorant of the fact that it needs to be washed every weekend to look good, haha

First "performance" mod - a much sharper, more direct shift. Because race car

As a side note - very saddened by the passing of Paul Walker. He was instrumental to my love of cars.

These arrived today:

I can't be wearing custom plates without some more mods - plans are now underway.

I'm sticking with my original plan to keep the mods handling-orientated, but the car could be improved with a few visual tweaks.

Plans for visual mods are:

- TOM's Taillights
- BRZ Oem rear diffuser
- 'TOYOTA' badge delete
- Plastidip Toyota logo badges
- 35% window tint
- Front Lip - undecided at present

Another one of my clips - a bit of footage from the "1 year anniversary" event up here. Some nice rides.

Nice. Buying one alongside your old man is a awesome. How is he going with 86 ownership?
Keen to hear an older persons impression on them
