AE86 Driving Club - November Drift Weekend
When - November 8 - 9th 2014
Location - Raleigh international raceway - Coffs Harbour NSW
Track time - 8hrs/day
Meals provided for paying entrants - 3 meals saturday, 2 sunday
Accommodation - camping on site included for paying entrants

To be held on the Coffs coast @ Raleigh international raceway, 15 mins south of coffs harbour, a midway point from sydney to Brisbane
approx 6 hrs from sydney.

Raleigh International Raceway, Valery Road, Raleigh NSW Clockwise Bitumen Surface 1050 Metres
Location : Raleigh international raceway
Date - 8/9th November 2014
Duration: Sat + Sun , 9am - 5pm each day!
Cost - $250 per Driver for the entire weekend. NOTE - Cost is per DRIVER, not per car.
Spectator pass - $50/weekend
Camping only pass - - $10
What does that include?
Track time from 9am - 5pm saturday and sunday
Camping on site!
3 meals saturday and 2 meals sunday.
Timetable
Scrutineering – from 8am
Breakfast - from 7am
Driver brief – 08:30 ( if you miss the driver brief you will not be allowed on until the next session)
Driving starts at 9am
Lunch - 12 - 1pm
Finishes at 5pm.

Driver Agreement
Declarations
Driver is a person who purchases a pass to utilise the Raleigh raceway track for the use of Drift, and general driving.
Passenger is a person who purchases a pass from Raleigh Raceway to be driven by a driver around the track for Drift / other driving.
A spectator is a person who purchases a pass from Raleigh Raceway to camp and watch the drivers.
Terms
Drivers are to sign and commit to the terms and conditions of Raleigh raceway, and all track usage, camping and otherwise liabilities will be covered between Raleigh Raceway and the party.
Drug Free and Alcohol Free Event.
Drivers and passengers whilst in a car that is on the track must
i) Wear a helmet that is approved under AS1698 standards.
ii) Wear long sleave cotton shirts and pants
iii) Wear enclosed footwear
iii Acknowledge the risk of personal injury is high and damage to property is likely and will not hold the event organisers responsible for any personal injury, losses or discomfort caused.
Cars must
i) Be in sound mechanical order and declared safe to operate on the track.
ii) The car owner / driver is responsible for ensuring it is safe
iii) Meet the terms and conditions of Raleigh Raceway
iiii) No refund shall be issued if cars are not permitted on the track due to not meeting these requirements.
iv) Not be driven around the camping area after 7:30pm at night unless permission has been granted to by an official
v) Have a working fire extinguisher within reach of the driver
vi) Not have loose objects in either the cabin or engine bay.
The driver must
i) Ensure their car is in sound mechanical order and safe to operate on the track.
ii) Not enter the track unless instructed by an official. A clear path from the pit areas to the track will be identified, and cars should use this path.
iii) Only drive around the track in the direction indicated and only leave via the dedicated areas.
iv) Not drift around the excluded area of the track or around stationary or slower vehicles.
v) Must maintain a speed of
vi) 40km per hour or less around excluded area of the track
vii) 5km per hour through the pit areas or camping areas
viii) Not jack up or lift a car off the ground
ix) Unless performing minor mechanical repairs or for the purposes of changing tyres.
x) Only in a safe manner on level / stable ground
xi) And not leave the car unattended whilst off the ground
xii) For only as long as necessary to undertake the repairs / tyre change.
xiii) For extended periods of time
xiv) Not drive their car on the track or in the pit area before 9:00am or after 5:00pm
xv) Remove all used tyres, car consumable parts / rubbish from the track
xvi) Failure to remove will see a fee of $25 per tyre removed
Spectators must
i) Not drive a car on the track.
ii) Maintain a 1m exclusion from all cars to be driven on the track
iii) Unless being driven by a driver on the track and they are in the passenger seat
iv) Remain outside the fence surrounding the track at all times unless being taken for a passenger ride by a registered driver.
v) Not operate any of the organiser’s equipment, including but not limited to Tyre Changers, Compressors, Generators, BBQs, Pizza Ovens urns etc.
In the event of
i) A mechanical failure or collision on the track, all occupants must remain in the car until instructed to get out by an official , except in the event of an imminent danger such as a fire
ii) Collision on the track, both parties will be deemed at fault and be responsible for the repairs to their own cars. No damages will be awarded by either party.
iii) A fire extinguisher is used
iv) a fee of $40 will be payable by the registered driver of the car for the use of a small extinguisher
v) a fee of $100 for the use of the larger extinguisher.
vi) No permission is required for the use of the extinguisher on the car, nor liabilities incurred for damages of the extinguisher fluids.
All registered parties must
i) Wear a wrist band provided by the organisers for the duration of the event
ii) Ensure all rubbish is placed in the bins provided
iii) Not be loud / disruptive / rude / violent
Food is provided for registered parties and whilst care is taken with the preparation in the unlikely event of it being deemed the cause of food poisoning / discomfort no liabilities will be incurred by the event organisers. Nor will additional compensation be provided if portion sizes aren’t the same or someone misses out etc.
Personal property and affects are your own responsibility and no liability will be taken for lost, damaged or otherwise stolen personal property and affects.
A breach of these terms and conditions will result in the offending party removed from the premises and no refund offered.
Food
Supplied for all registered and payed drivers and spectators wrist bands will be supplied. People with camping only passes may buy food once "seconds" are called.
Tyre Changer
A tyre Changer will be on site and an opperator supplied, Tyre changes will be $10 per tyre. You must take all used tyres with your from the venue.
Low profile tyres 40's etc, take longer and are more difficult to change and should be avoided if possible.
Easy Checks for your car to perform
All wheel nuts on each wheel and tight
Seats secured and can't be moved
Seatbelt / harnesses lock
No fuel / oil leaks
Secure battery
No loose items in the cabin
Fire extinguisher installed and within driver reach
FIRE EXTINGUISHER MUST BE CARRIED IN EVERY CAR
Noise restrictions

If the old farmer hears your car, he will tell you it is too loud. There are neighbours around the track who complain, so do the right thing and keep your car at a reasonable level.
General housekeeping Rules.
Everything you bring you take away with you, this includes used tyres!!
No drifting,hooning burnouts on the entry road or in the roads around the facility!!! this is very very strict... Do it and you WILL be sent walking and you will NOT get a refund!!!
