View Full Version : Gen-F HSV Clubsport R8 - Street, Road & Track Brake Pad Upgrade

As part of the Bendix Test Pilot Program, Brad from Heasman Steering has a set of Bendix Street Road Track (http://www.bendix.com.au/content/bendix_brakes_performance_street_road_track_srt) Brake Pads installed on his Gen-F HSV Clubsport R8.

When it comes to choosing brake pads, there’s no “one-size-fits-all” solution. Different drivers need different brake pads. Their requirements are affected by driving style and the vehicle design. You’ll need to know the driver’s habits and preferences before you select a brake pad to match their driving style.

So how does Brad use his R8? It’s his daily driver so the car is driven regularly to and from work experiencing a lot of stop-and-go city driving. On top of this the car attends a dozen track based events a year where consistent braking performance is a must.

What Brad is looking for is an all-in-one street/ track pad that won’t destroy his rotors. For Brad’s driving style we’d go with the Bendix Street, Road, Track pads.
