heater core

hey guys my heater core is fudged up! and i need a new one... want to buy section hasnt really helped me so! my question is:

can i get another heater core from another car from a wreckers to put in? if so which make and model?

The AE86 heater box and fan is basicaly the same as TE71, TE72, AE71, KE70 etc. with only small differences. A different heater core from one of these vehicles will fit, but the pipes out the firewall will be in slightly different spots if not from a a 4A vehicle.

ohh ohk well my mate has a ae71 that he is wrecking the heater in that works fine! really good infact.....can i steal that and get it to fit in my 86?

if i were to attach aircon system back onto my 20v will having an ae71 heater core affect anything? will it work? etc?
