240 km/h speedo's

im looking at getting import 240 speedo cluster. will i need to change anything for it work right into a aus 86. it wont show a different speed to what im actually doing or anything?

as far as i am aware it is a straight fit and all should be well. fuck i hop so. cus i got a 240kmh one and my mate destroyed the standard item when drunk. and my car hasn't been running since.

you need a specific speed sensor for the gearbox as the worm-drive gearing is different i think.
