the clutch is rooted in my ae71 nd i'm gunna buy a new one

was just wondering the differences between a 4ac flywheel and a 4age one.
i know the 4ac is a six bout and 4age is 8

the real question is if i buy a good (expencive) clutch for my 4ac will it bolt up to a 4age, as i will be converting it soon. or should i just buy a cheap shitty one till then?

Depends on which 4age you get.
Ae92 Smallports have a 212mm flywheel. ae82 bigports have 200mm same as 4acs.
So you can run your 200mm 4ac clutch on or even on the 212mm though that is dodgy.
However I don't know what pressure a 4ac pressure plate exerts. it might be a lot less than the 4ag on.
Isn't it only like $70 for a standard replacement for the 4ac anyway? Just get the stock part then buy the better one when you change motors.
Im running an exedy standard replacement on my smallport and it hasn't slipped yet!!
