Has anyone done this modification ?? the concern i have is that the bottem of the ball joint is going to hit the inside of the rim. Or if it doesnt it would be bloody close. Thinking about buying some and dont want to disappoint myself when they dont fit.

i had 13x8 0 with a 25mm rca and it fitted with no clearance issues at all. it depends on your lca ball joints really, some have onnes that have a big peice that comes out the bottom and that usually fowles on the wheels. i remeber marv had that problem with his old ke.

iv run 2 cars with rca's and 13's but and never had any issues

Depends what parts your running.

I have 40mm with 14's running 86 struts + corona arms. if thats what u got read below, otherwise disregard.
i have ~3mm clearance

so from 14s to 13s, your reducing your clearance by half an inch (13mm) = -ve 10mm.

i.e. 25mm is about the max you will get i reckon because 30mm will still touch?

EDIT: i get really annoyed at people that dont give enough information!!!!!!
its like getting on a 4x4 forum with your corolla and asking "hey will 15 x 10's with 33" muddys fit on my car without touching??"
