While on my travels around europe I was lucky enough to catch up with one of the lads on the ireland forums. They are a really friendly bunch over there, all were willing to meet up and have a chat, it was good to see another club from a different perspective. The bloke I met up with was a moderator on the ireland forums and he had a real love for his 86's, as he imported and sold alot of cars/parts to the community. Anyway I will get some pics going..........

I went out to his place, in a quiet little village and drove up to his front yard and was confronted by these beasts!

The white one was getting re-shelled, as rust had the better of it, I was a big fan of the all white zenki bumper with matching lip!

The other was a project he brought off a bloke in england which had a huge amount of rust through it....the guy tried to repair it, but there was just a stupid amount in it.....wasnt worth it.

Anyway walking around the corner of his house I was confronted with a dream backyard!

This was his daily, mint condition

This was his drift car, turbo 4age with the works....amazing machine he had imported over.....big brands in it everywhere!

This was my favorite car I saw......kitted trueno with a tough n/a engine in it.....again toda cams, pistons, on quads. Half cage, and a awesome set up in the car. The sad thing is this had been sitting in his place for months because no one is prepared to buy it.....its by far the toughest trueno I have ever seen up close.

Finally this was in amazing condition aswell, inside and out.

All together there were 6 86's sitting there waiting for someone to buy, all in amazing condition.

They have too many kouki bumpers........its so shit. He had about 5 rear bumpers sitting in long grass, and you can pick up a set for around 60 euro ($120) if you have a look around. I would love to take some back with me but they would be to big for the plane and too expensive for freight.......it would probably end up cheaper, but alot of hassle.

I cant get over the trueno.....the amount of work that went into that, the hand flared guards are a work of art, it just looks like it rolled out of the factory. It had a set of recaros, nardi and greddy gauges hanging off everywhere.
