ive got the motor bolted in
pedal box and master cyl in
just modifing a t series diff to go in along with extractors and tailshaft
in the process of lowering it also
also found out upon pulling it out it actualy has mukini quads
not to long till its on the road :D

got my lca's today so im just waiting for my ajps stuff.
i welded up my diff to suit leaf tonight
also brought some 25mm bolt on spacers

should be on the track by march :D

today i got my t series diff in and locked and the back is low! :)
got all my sus from ajps so that will be going in soon
bonnet pins in and functioning!
got coilover springs and sleeves here soon thanks to dr1ft-pig but have a month to wait for my shocks to come in + they are on lay by lols :hehe:
hopefully i can try start it tomoro!!!! :D:D

lil bit of an update

got 2 re001's on my front rims tonight
got my seat in on rails
got a crapy steerer (better than stock)
had a problem with blowing exhuast mani gaskets when it was running so i got my extractors faced so i hope that fixes it

next up:

i get my shocks thursday... so coilys will be in finally!
fix my handbrake
wheel alignment and a breif tune next week then

hey all havent been on here lately so here a lil bit of an update:

at the moment in getting my leaf springs reset and some more leafs added all ready for drift school.

it has also come to my attention that i want more power so dad has desided to go me halves with an sr20 or ca18. so im going to compete in drift school on the 20th of june with this motor then ill change it out so if any one wants to buy my motor make me an offer :)

so when i do my engine conversion i will also be doing the following:

31 diff
hydrolic handbrake
cage
sigma lca's
cambertops
86 power steering arms
surge tank set up
and other stuff which i will update in time

as for now a couple pics since i neatend her up a bit and some angle from the w/e.

got my springs back and they wernt low enough so now im running inch lowering blocks as well....i didnt realy want to but i also didnt have much choice. also made a new exhaust and fitted a t18 bumper.... so i want your opinion ... bumper? or no bumper? i think im leaning towards no bumper...next week im also getting another seat to replace the drivers seat! im also going to be fitting some quad lights to it most probly soon..

had a pretty good day out today had some rain did some awsome 3rd gearys in the wet... loved it
had some trouble... got a bit of diff bounce which acted like a rattle gun and losend the nut that holds the pinion in the diff in place so my wheels locked up and tailshaft fell off haha... managed to fix it :D which was awesome... filled the diff up with 10/40w engine oil and she ran like a dream haha

all in all was a pretty awesome day! i wont be missing out on the next drift school!

well after getting it a bit warm last round i finally got around to taken the head off last night every thing looks minta much to my suprise it will be getting a rebuilt and faced head, a new head gasket, new head studs, got a w55 g/box to go in and got a excedy 6 puk in the makings. oh and new engine mounts :). but wont be out at next practice tho coz i have to spend some cash on the daily :(

but me and my father have come to the conclusion that more power is needed lol so my motor/gearbox/diff is now up for sale if any one is interested pm me but i will post it up in the forsale forums some time soon when its all back together.

An RB is too long and too heavy for an xE7x chassis.

If i were to suggest a dirty Nissan motor, i'd have to pick the SR.

However period correct and marque correct power is the best choice in my awesome opinion.

well ive seen what an rb and an sr can do in a ke and i like both lol but ive sused out some sr's and other than being double the price and a bugger to find... they sound to be the goods. ive orjaniseded to go have a look at an sr at smooth garage in 2 weeks time so hopefully if all goes well it makes the trip home in my vehicle :D pretty sure i cant wait. so ill have to get the resident sr pro to come lend a hand aye edward?? :D
as for the 18r... im pretty keen on keeping it coz they are tough motors but well see what happens.

yeah all the kids are doing it lol, if you are a newbie to drifting entry in drift school when it comes up next, but if you know what you are doing come to a practice, mega fun even if it is an under powerd car lol.

as for the update:

motor/box fitted
cooler/cooler pipes and radiator fitted
r31 diff- 4:11's - minispool diff is in but still need to add some more calipers n a couple other things
mostly made my hydro hand brake cost me $34 lol
most of my fuel stuff is mounted just have to run a couple lines when i could be bothered draining my tank.
eddie is coming over tomoro night to lend some wiring assistance
pick up my tailshaft thursday night

probly a day left on the diff a day left on the fuel system and a couple days with the little odds n ends n it will be getting pretty close :D

well another update, coz im bored, ran out of gas on the mig :( lol

all i have left to do is finish welding up my hydro brake, run a brakeline, and run a fuel line from my surge tank to my fuel tank.
eddie is going to come round and finish my motor wiring for me tomoro night :D:D

took this thing out to drift prac on the weekend in a bit of dry and wet.

well small update ... picking a pair of 15x8-4's up from lawson tomoro night
done a bit of body work on her... (still need to do front gaurds again when i get these wheels) so hopefully its looking minty fresh b4 chrismas :D
also got a alloy twin core radiator on the way... probly wont fit my engine fan in tho so will have to run twin thermos .... then all i got left to do is box up my fuel system and get a new (cams approved) seat.... :D then more drifteringz

well been pretty well flat out over the last couple weeks i have pulled the motor out, recond clutch and flywheel. new gearbox. so its all back in and running, payed for my cage today... also made my new exhaust coz some cool ppl dont like my exhaust being short lol. tis 3inch underdiff stainless to twin 3 inch pipes. clears the ground by enough..... which is swell. also i need to look for another seat b4 g1 coz i dont want to risk mine not passing.

well i have been crazy amounts of busy over the last week trying to get this thing up to standard 4 g1! some of the things include:

rollcage
an extra seat
cleaned up a whole heap of wiring
relocated battery box
but a battery isolation switch in
made a new catch can
changed all fluids
changed brake pads
put fuel system in a box
changed my dash.
added a couple gauges
modified exhaust (brackets and shortend it)
fixed my gaurd
and a heap of other stuff that i cant think of right now.

i will get some fresh pics up tomoro night b4 i put it on the trailer!!
