Default Need throttle cable shortened! anyone done it in SYD?

    Car - ADM AE86

    motor - 4ac

    use - daily pig

problem - just installed Weber 32/36, and now the throttle cable is to long

    occurs/started when - now!

personal situation - need a shorter one, what other car's throttles can i use? or where can i get a shorter one?

I went to a motorbike shop, and they can't shorten the cable and housing.
went to a cycle shop, they couldn't either.
need to get it done by monday.

is there anywhere in sydney that someone has got this done.
or is there keXX that is around 80mm shorter?

motor bike shops can help you out with that one, got mine custom made at motor bike shop.
just take your throttle cable to the shop they will be able to shorten it for you.

Go to a push bike shop, get an odessey linear slick.

    Cut to correct length.

Make plates and adjusters on either end yourself.

Try a different bike shop. That's just crap, sounds like they're lazy.

^^ agreed. just put a clip on the strut tower or somehwere so it is tight enough to work.
