Mint interior though.
I present to you the latest and grooviest addition to the SwampGarage stable.
Swamp T-18
All the way from 1979, and featuring the hippest velour rainbow interior, crinkle cut fenders and lashings of chrome trim, this unique vehicle was discovered by me during a recent trip to the wreckers. I purchased it for little more than the cost of a couple of pairs of bellbottom trousers.
Actually, all I wanted was a couple of bolts to hold my alternator on, but when I saw this, it was love at first sight.
The engine is in a sorry state judging by the oil filled spark plug wells, but has a webber and 4-2-1 extractors.
On the way home, I also discovered it has aircon. WORKING aircon!
Plus it has a thing that squirts water down the back window. FAR OUT!
Plans are to destroy it doing khanacross

Mint interior though.
秀はるかに勝つ!
Apart from a couple of worn patches on the drivers seat, and the obligatory cracked dash, it is immaculate. Will get pics to show this once I've cleaned it up.
Unforunately, before I bought it, someone had already removed a few interior parts such as the radio surround and interior door handles. Even has its funky folding parcel shelf/cargo cover.
Khanacross is by FAR the best and most respecting death to any weapon T18. But be warned, it takes alot of punishment before they will die. They shoot flames with straight pipes like you wouldnt belive too
Also sell the chrome bumpers of it and buy yourself a 2nd hand set of rally tyres. Best investment for khanacross ever

"the magic formula for gravel rallying: 1000kg, 300hp and 4 cylinders."
I have a set of steel studded snow/mud rally tyres that were my sprinter's winter wheels. They're on my ae71 at the moment, but could get them sent up here.
The bumpers and interior will get removed. They're far too good to have on this car.
Engine needs major work though - suspect the headgasket is gone (drank all the water and left muddy deposit on underside of radiator cap). The cooling system has thick scale deposits too.
This thing is not looking as bad as I first thought. All the crud in the cooling system seems to be rust, not oil, and the radiator is leaking - hence the loss of water.
A spark plug and some carby cleaner is all it took to get the engine running perfectly again. Just need seals for rocker cover and a new radiator.
Its good side
PSYCHEDELIC ACTION PIC TIME!! @v@
fully sik bro!
I think I broke the handbrake button while doing that... lol
More adventures of an unfortunate t-18.
I work on a farm of sorts - well, it used to be a farm, now its mostly a jungle infested swamp. As the t-18 has aircon and a roof, I've been using it as my work vehicle instead of a quad.
Its been raining a lot lately though, so today was its first major test of its "4wd" capabilities.
It handled the muddy tracks fine - the really nasty bits were overcome with sheer speed. When blasting through one bad section, a small crocodile lying on the track very nearly became wedged under that shiny chrome bumper.
Disaster struck on the way home however while crossing a flooded creek. Half way across the engine spluttered and stalled. It took me several minutes to get it restarted. The old door seals and rust holes in the floor took slightly less than that to half fill the cabin with water.
Luckily I got it out before the seats got soaked. Note floating drink bottle in the back!
So, now it looks like this Going to take a while to dry out in this weather.
Could have been worse though...
