wrapping your exhaust normally works on the principle that it keeps the heat in the exhaust, hotter air flows better. Its understandable to stop heat going to OTHER places though.

Ok so i have got my shit into gear and im basically on the road to finishing this thing. Only things left to do after tonight, is finish the bonnet, Put bonnet pins in, fit water pump, fit hatch clips and stick rego on this slut! Which will be happening Friday arvo!!

So basically this is what has happened and are mostly just shit i was putting off or to lazy to do.

Passenger seat in. What a BITCH! and it is kinda in the way of my Bias Adjutser. Not to matter a Bride Zeta III to match the driver seat will take its place.. THANK YOU KEVIN RUDD!

Finally secured the side skirts correctly if you look at the previous pics, they werent exactly sitting on very well.

Finally put the heat shield on, further back i made this. Should APPRENTLY take up to 2000 degrees of heat before the world implodes on itself.

Took these suckers off to paint. After pic when dry tomorrow.

Also fixed and cleaned up some wiring under the dash, put new gear box, diff and engine oil in the car. HOO RA! Wipers are all fixed and ready to be wired up. I lowered the front a lil to match the rear so it wasnt squatting. Cut the inner part of the frp guards and bolt on flares to aviod damage in uber hard cornering. Bashed the shit out of the in wheel arch seam for huge clearance.

Also will be sticking a AJPS lock spacer in this week. So that means i will have one on each side. Thats right two! and before you all carry on.. My mate and i tested this on his KE (with 86 rack) and the amount of lock he has gained is stupid and can still bring the wheel back! its uber fabolous. but we will test it a lil more in his car.

Few pics of Hardparking in my new work area...
