Yeah they look like baseball helmets but they are definitely intended for bikes/scooters.
Actually you see guys riding their bikes with them on the back of their neck, done up around their neck , as if it has slipped off or something.
It'd do so much damage if you actually had an accident (which happens frequently), but it seems to be the fashion or something haha...
Haha yeah the wheel choice was hard, but finally size and offset dictated, the works should fit perfectly with just a little clearance to the strut and as little scrub radius as possible... will go against what people usually choose for looks but should be good for handling

As you can see in the pic, normally they are 1680yen but they are on special for 1580yen at the moment! (about $20)
I saw this particular example at a hardware store "Conan" about 1 minute from my house...

Haha... I reckon it would cost well more than the cost of the actual thing to send it as a helmet is quite bulky.
I have only seen it in one hardware shop but I don't visit that many to be honest, I would assume that it is a rather popular model as reading, writing and drawing are skills highly valued amongst scooter and moped riders.
