Autronics have an issue with the Toyota CAS'. A mate of mine adapted a Mitsi Hall Effect sensor into his 4A dizzy which solved the issue.
I have an adaptronic with a CAS and dont have a single issue with it. Never have. My tuner never commented on any issues with the install or the running of it, and he'd never touched one before, so was going right through everything at the time. Motor is going back on the dyno tuesday sometime, so will double check.
The rest of the motor was fucked haha... but that part works fine.

Gurney Flap!!!
never really got the signal perfect, just played with the settings in the reluctor box until they improved. still gets a small amount of interference at idle if the revs drop below 1000rpm buti have it above that anyway.
another trigger wheel setup would be a lot better and would eliminate the problem.
I'll ask my mate how he adapted the Mitsi stuff into the dizzy. He might even still have it.

Yeah adaptronics have no such issue. Did you get your brands confused Javal? Haltech's seem to have long had issues reading toyota cas's, I believe they sell a separate "reluctor adapter" to solve this. Maybe try one of those?
My E6x controls the 4AGE off the stock sensor in the CAS just fine, no extra hardware, no fancy stuff. Just straight off the smallport CAS.
Which model Haltech?
any sign of the brakes?
so amped for wednesday
Cheers for all the feedback guys.
