Now featuring a red engine bay:

    Blue bits are spray putty.
Might be a bit before i can continue on as my air compressor was sounding quite sick last night and then stalled entirely. Will look at that tonight

Picked up some JDM skirts though, which are the same as the ones homologated in the documentation. Win.

    Brief update:

Should be finished sanding the rest of the car this weekend. Will need a couple of guide coats, but its pretty straight overall, main issue is a few little stone chips around the guards, oh and none of the colours matching, damn 25 year old paint...

Have i said before how much i hate body work?

Roof was pretty rooted, almost better now. Hatch is smoothed in on the leading edges, and the wiper and washer deleted. Front guards have been re-radiused and a skimcoat of bog applied. All needs to be sanded back... again.
All i can smell is thinners and sanding dust

Primed the car yesterday afternoon and laid down the first couple of coats today:

Bloody hell it felt good to get some paint down. Going to let it dry for a few days, and then clean up the two runs i had and then hit it with another couple of coats
