i love this thing! hows the conversion going Paul? i did end up getting a van, its nowhere near as clean as yours but its a good daily. if you do ever sell yours and i have the $ id love to buy it!

This has sat unused for quite some time but I just renewed rego again last week. Over the last couple months I've been doing stuff in dribs and drabs. Now sporting a healthier 4A-C with no oil leaks, super low km HD clutch & timing belt along with a good carby. The MA's have a set of RE001's now and I've also installed a Clarion 3 RCA out unit with 4" splits, 6" splits and 2 subs behind the seats where the 6X9's used to live. Ordered more HSD goodness from Ben at otomoto (Top bloke) and will be coilover converting my spare 86 struts with 5kg rate and MR2 SW20 rear Excel G in the near future. Fully re-bushing front end at same time. Just finished getting my speedo/odometer into a Jap tacho cluster too so hopefully that works faultlessly when i install it. So looking forward to dailying this thing again this week once my cluster is in. The white 71 is just way to loud and impractical to drive with whiney 4.3's. Oh, plumbed up my aircon pipes today too, just gotta fit the idle up shit tomorrow arvo then air cleaner goes back on.

Now with Shockworks coilovers built on XT130 stubs. XT130 hubs, RA60/MA61 slotted vented discs, MX62 Calipers

Rear still has 2 inch blocks for now on the original leafs with the new dampers.

Good to see an update Paul! Reminds me of the submarine before I flared the guards and pulled it apart! You drive this much? Any other plans?

It's my daily, lol. That's why I'm yet to get around to painting and doing everything else I want to do. I've got a few other cars but this one is the work horse and gets the least love. Pretty much collected everything for small port 4AGE conversion but it will still be a while off.

I parted out my old track car and bought another 71 with an SR20 turbo sight unseen. I found a bent rail and I've prepped a good straight shell for it so that's next.

Also spent most of October and November working on the TE71 GT getting that ready for registration.

New track car shell I did a bit of work on this winter just gone, brought home a spare AE71 from the farm and repaired the front damage and fitted early shape with quads instead. Nisrolla in background, all running gear to be put into good shell. Got a brand new pair of Velo's and a main hoop bent up to start the cage from and interior will be just the bare essentials.
