why are you laughing at the firewall?

it looks like it could have been done neater, but at least he has mounted the engine back. it would be nice to have an incar image of the firewall. admitedly it doesnt look that great from the engine side, but maybe its a nice boxed section inside.

if you compare it to that second picture, the black engine bay. check out how much engine is forward of the strut towers in that one. at least he has made an effort to weight distribution in the first one.

far out that car would fly though.

whats wrong with cutting your firewall out, i cut out over 70% of mine to get my engine further back.

i have a old video of one in japan with 1jzgte, same engine just 2.5 not 3.0 it runs something like 9 sec 1/4 mile if memory sevres me
