Do a skid
Yep.
Taking it to Winterfest on the weekend.
Winding the coilovers down 10mm too, might get the paint pen and colour in 'toyo' on the tyres too. Unsure if shit.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

How was Winterfest? I'm disappointed the event was organised on the long weekend
Well the long weekend works for more people than it doesn't, but it was a damn good show. I'd guess 150-200 cars showed up. Lots of very well built ones in all styles. Surprisingly large VIP presence actually, plenty of neat restos and tasteful restomods as well as a few oddball imports, all balanced out by an abundance of KE70 bandits.
Being my first 'show' with the car I made the mistake of parking next to one of my favourite cars, a midnight purple MX30 Coupe with a 1UZ. Retrospectively, parking next to something just as shiny but rarer and much more interesting was not a good idea. I'm not out there for the attention but a lot of people like that car as much as I do and my rig seems quite plain in comparison. That said i'd rather park with a few neater cars and let the slammed slappers have their own kind of glory. It does seem that a portion of punters have the 'no fender mirrors or JZ no care' attitude. Despite that, I met a heaps of nice people and had a bunch of fun on the loosely titled 'parade laps'.
It really is no wonder that when you park next to something like this, people don't really pay attention to what's next to it.
Few photos taken from the facebook event - full credit to the photographers who took them.
The best part was definitely the time on the track, about 5 or so laps. All led by a pace car but the general vibe was to leave the pace car a lot of space so you could go hard for a little bit. It's really made me want to buy a lid and do a bit of racing. There's a Rob Roy day in a couple of months so I think i'll try my hand at hillclimb there.

Meh, your car is for you, not everyone else. I'm considering hitting up the come and try day also. In the TE71. My brother in law has an MGB & used to be in the MGCC. He has convinced me to give it a crack. Having only ever done Winton, I'll be keen to give it a go.
Rob Roy is heaps of fun, just it's over all to quickly. Definitely worth it though for a come and try day.
Only got to have a quick look at this as I was working on our stand, but it really does look sensational in person. You've done a great job on it, should be really proud.
