    Default 4agze ignitor wiring

Yo, just trying to wire up a gze ignitor with an ems 4424.

Does anyone have info on what each wire coming out of the ignitor is.

I can find some information on the colours of each wire, but it doesn't actually tell me what each one does.

    Cheers

    You can't.

Go buy 2 single channel ignitors or one dual channel.

Yeah the GZE igniters are a thing of there own in the way they trigger.

instead of two wires being a trigger for each coil,

one wire is the trigger, and the second is the sequencer for which one to fire,
so not compatable with any aftermarket ECU I know of.

Done some research, and it depends on what your setup is.

Most Ecu companies offer an igniter for a range of channels.

However this only aplies for distributorless ignition systems.

You still need an ignitor to run coilpacks.

I have Gze twin coil packs forsale also, with them you would need a 2 channel ignitor to run them.... The adap ecu sends a signal to the ignitor, then the ignitor pulls earth from coils for a certain amount of time called Dwell, and is measured in milliseconds then they fire when earth is dropped again

Yeah unfortunatley toyota makes their ignition systems really complicated, and like it was mentioned before the stock ignitor has one trigger input, then another wire tells the igniter when to switch the signal from output to output
