    Default Te71 gt

    1979 TE71 GT

    Engine
    2tg twin cam efi
    converted to twin solex carbies
    cams

    Drivetrain
    t50
disc brake rear end but different brakes to a sprinter as far as i can see

    Suspension
    t-18 front end
some rock hard springs that need changing
bilstein rear shocks and TRD springs in the rear

other than that it's pretty standard, i'm trying to make it original as possible, got all the original stereo from the sprinter for it and i just need to tidy up the engine bay and sort out a few more bits and pieces

bought it off jay a few months ago, awesome car to drive carbies are so much nicer sounding than quads! as far as i know it is the only proper GT in aus,

but it's such an odd car, it is built from about 5 different 70's/80's toyotas, and i'm still trying to work out what everything is from.

i retuned the carbies, they were pretty out of balance, put new leads on it and it's a fair bit better. i think new plugs should fix it for good.
