    Also depends on the size of your steering wheel. I've got a fairly small wheel. But when im actually skidding, dont really notice it.

    manual steering is fine.. the steering feedback on a manual 86 is awesome, people in the US convert their cars to manual steer from P/S.

    Running P/S arms, more track and alot of castor makes the steering noticeably heavier, but still perfectly drivable even in carparks etc

    I've driven cars with p/s all my life.
    Since I recently bought my '86 I've decided to get it. But only because I'm used to it.
    I'd rather have an '86 than a girlfriend.

    i love the feel of a manual rack u can feel the rd and zippyness of ur car P/S is only good for parking

    use the power from ur arms? haha i dont think its necessary at all in a light corolla, my dads 1985 mazda ute is heavy as, but corollas are fine~

    i drove around in a ford fairmont, that had an issue with spitting off power steering belts, it was so fricken hard to turn its not funny, but i got used to it and now every car seems easy.
