Thermos front and rear of intercooler/rad and you should be sweet
heaps of room!
let me know what ya comeup with for the loc problem, ordering some T3 arms as we speak
Brendan, had a play with what u said (even tho i had already thought of it )
might be a good, wont be hard to mount i dont think and looks cool

haha good man,
yea i have to modify the cressida caster rods/mounts so i can get adjustment out of them. are the supra and soarer one adjustable from factory? might be easier to bolt them in?
and yea 1 or 2 themos on the rad should do it. its a big fuck off IC for the small turbo haha
do you think you will get much heat soak from the radiator to the cooler? what about leaving like a 10~15mm gap and putting a shroud around the lot so the air does keep flowing strait threw.
with that much room you could also put one of those water/air barrel type coolers in there. apparently they are really efficient.
top work BTW.
as dirty as a SR is, it makes a LOT of sense in this!
Cheers mate
haha yea, SR is dirty for sure, but will love it. helps that the motor was for free
but yes, the rad is just sitting there now, will look into making a shroud to make sure the air goes where i want. also will help support the rad and cooler.
also also on the weight note, around 1300kg as john said. similar weight to Ceff's and people have success running SRs in them. they comment on how well it handles with less weight in the front. that has also helped me in my decision to run the dirty SR and get it nice and far back. will be looking into a bigger power SR when this one blows dies, probably forged or soemthing with a decent turbo. but aim is to get it on the track driving for as cheap as possible and as soon as possible.
+1 mount rad back further give even 100mm gap with alloy shroud then u wont get too much heat on the cooler, u got the room man, id be taking advantage
great start but ill be following this build closely
Top work im liking the fast work
im liking this thread lol
the dyno pull to 300rwkw
BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less
too hung over this weekend to do much.
but radiator is nearly mounted. and IC is to. about a 60-70mm gap so pretty happy with that. also sorted out my rad pipes and IC piping is almost sorted
and just paid for some 220mm 8kg springs for the rear. should stiffen it up a bit and sit nicely. hope to have them by the weekend
i would have gone possible 9-10kg with the springs , mine although are 6kg are way to soft.
