Thread: 4x100 dished rims

    Default 4x100 dished rims

    Hey.

Does anyone know of any decent dished rims in 4x100 that are sold commercially? I've got a little Micra that I plan to source some rims for and I want to know what is available so I know what to save up for. I'm hoping for around 14x7 (would prefer 8" but don't think it'd fit) with a fairly low offset.

    Cheers.

Edit: Sorry mods, just realised that this probably belongs in the General Automotive Topics section...

Another question: how the hell am I supposed to know if they'll fit? Haha. I know the centre bore has to be at least 59.1mm, but in terms of hitting the inside of the wheel arch or scrubbing against the guards, how will I know without being able to test fit them?

If they are low enough offset and not too wide (7"), I won't have to worry about them hitting the inside of the wheel arch (correct?) but will have to make sure the guards are flared.. is that right? There is hardly any room for a wide rim, which is why I'm thinking I'll need to get a low offset so it's mounted closer to the inner edge of the rim...

when you find the wheel you want, try and find a rim (from a friend or pretend to be interested in a set of wheels down at your local rim shop) of very similar size/offset and check, otherwise expect to need guard flares/a guard roll

Finding that particular size and stuff will be hard though I guess?

try and find a size as close as possible, it would give you a good idea and you can work from that i guess
