Also the R31 caliper is worse than the commodore one because of the park brake stuff hanging off the back. i think that there Will be enough room to spin the caliper from the 9 o'clock position around to the 12 which Will give me the clearance that i need.

Yeah, the parkbrake mechanism on R31 calipers is absolutly terrible. Poor design......

Ok so the W57 box is in and the modified shifter is spot on. Will try and get a start on the gearbox mount this arvo and look at the tail shaft tomorrow. All coming together and I might even get to go from a drive up the road before I head back to work.

    Cheers

    Very nice build mate.
    Just curious...
Did you end up getting it dynoed again with the .49 exhaust housing on the turbo to see if it improved the boost?
Are you still looking at it as an option?

Yeah will be going back with the 0.49 exhaust. have a t28 with bigger compressor and exhaust wheel as well that will go on once i am organised and i will dyno that as well. The adaptronic runs dual maps so once i know what turbo u am going to use i will get it tuned on 98 as well.

Jojo if the weather stays like this then probably.no point as it will be very slippery. probably good for drifting though ;-)

    Cheers
