mate i'm sorry but i have never seen a decent one. The snapon guy brought in his best one to display for us and it was all very good looking. but then i convinced him to let me test it out. well wasn't that a fail. as far as i have seen. they are not worth it.

but if you are really keen for under 300 bucks best bet would be to go to repco. and pretend you work for a local business and get trade price haha.

there are definitely good ones out there. im just hoping its got to the point now that there are good cheap ones, theyve been around a while.

but out of interest, why do you say there are no good ones? like, what is it the snap on one couldnt do?

tbh, whilst snap on shit is the bomb, id battery operated power tools arent their forte so.. maybe it was just a bit shit.

i need one to smash shit to pieces at the wreckers faster. i still love going and finding stuff.. just dont actually enjoy pulling it off..

saw theyve got cordless angle grinders now too! but i wouldnt be surprised if they were a bit shit..

dewalt ones on ebay are good for about 500. aussie sellers also offer 3yr warranty.

And it is sooooo worth having one, saves so much time, frustration and makes tek screws your friend!!!!

I've been borrowing an Hitachi one for a while now. Bearing in mind this is only to change wheel and nothing else. But its been awesome, when i get some spare cash im getting one. There are some on ebay for pretty good prices. Go for an 18v one though.

my mate always brings round his 18V dewalt one cos my compressor driven rattle gun is to weak!!!
Only problem is it either undoes the bolt or twists the head clean off the shaft!!
