Thumbs down revs don't fix everything...eds ae86 - random vid up

    howdy, i'm ed (stlll)
    this is my new bus

cb writing a big essay on the build of this car, which has been long, dramatic and annoying
i'll just put specs up instead, and decent pics when i get home from working away.

    BODY
standard hatch body recently painted white (some bizaare mix we made, bit of everything in there, came out pretty normal tho..)
    fibreglass bonnet
    black bars front an rear
    lipped guards
    topstage front lip
15 x 8 sportmax 002s, adrenalins wrapping them on front, wynstar phasers on the rear for now

    ENGINE
    silvertop 20v
    haltech e6x
magnetic pick up on crank pulley as distributor got evicted
ghetto rear wheel drive water pipe conversion
    vy v6 commo coils

    DRIVELINE
    excedy ceramic full face clutch
    welded s series
modified slave cyl to keep hydraulic line away from exhaustion pipes

    SUSPENSION & STEERING
    AJPS 8kg front springs
    excel g shocks
    RCAs
    corona rt142 lower control arms
    cusco cambertops
    ps arms
    lock spacer
    AJPS 6kg rear springs
    excel g shocks
    AE fourlink
    stock swaybars

    INTERIOR
    maaaaassive homemade boss
    nardi wheel
    saas fixed back seat
gay speco tacho mounted on its side (???? i haven't fixed that yet!!)
    not much else

so thats about it, i'll put it in a few rounds and practice days this year, if i'm feeling up to it after my final operation. aside from that it's my daily, clocks 500km a week and doesn't miss a beat, took a bit to sort it, but it's flush as now
haven't fussed too much with setting it up, sorta run of the mill setup,
    -3 camber, + 5 caster, neutral toe
set the fourlink up for more grip tho, which helps, alot, its actually heaps quicker sideways, which is good!!!
i want more power (doesn't everyone) but really, it's too reliable to fuck around with, so i'll prob just leave it as is, do a bit more suspension wise, and enjoy it

sold the brown one, this thing came up with 20v already in it, so i offed the carbed 16v bus. wanted more grunt. shoulda just whacked something ideal in the brown thing, was the straightest one i'd seen, woulda been a pity if i'd put it into something
it's a caboose cos i'm usually last in line with my underpowered thing, but more so it had a c in it, like clutch, so i used that. little did i know captain correction would pull me up on it!!
sportmax fit easy as, wish they were a little wider and more offest but still, i lipped the guards but only as belting ripple strips, off track excursions and such tend to make wheels travel more than normal, i know i'll get hate from going to some cheap shit rims, but i had xr4s before, lent a pair out and they got bent, it's all part of drifting, so i figure fuck it, why not get something thats easy to replace.

cleaned and lowered just a little more ^

so i've got some footage looks like some bloke in usa or japan, def not here in tas but it's street footage, poor move to put it up mods??
