    Default Old Yellow

    Hey all,

This is my T18 i just bought. 1979 model.

Sprayed in a very bright yellow, a lot of little patches of cancer.

Dark ass tints, lowered a bit, very plain mags and a big carby off a 6 cyl cortina i think.....

noisy, smelly, but she's still a pretty one imo.

the dash looked like a backdrop to a news story on drought, so i resurfaced it on the cheap with nothing but microsuede and some upholstering tacks today. will get more pics up soon.

First plans are for a carby tune (hates cold start and idles crap) and maybe address the exhaust leaks. There's a ding to the rear left which is pretty ugly too....

The dash looks... tacky Maybe could have used some dry reeds and a dead fish to compliment the dry riverbed theme?

Dash mats for them do exist, I have one in mine, but no idea where you'd find one.

thanks man, ah yeah thats my mates workshop, just had him tuning the carby and changing some seals, some genius prior owner figured silicone is the same as spark plug well gaskets, the silicone deteriorated and flooded the plugs with oil resulting in a shocker of a misfire... all good again now.

LOL yeha maybe a decomposing baby lamb carcass too.

hahha the dodgy suede has faded into a brown so it matches the rest of the interior now, im not too fussed about it..
