Default Cool cars throughout your family

Anyones parents/grandparents other family members here had any cool cars through out there time? , my dad restored a 1942 willys jeep and sold it for around $4000 in around year 2000 he is now kicking himself because there worth heaps these days but he had no other choice then to sell it which sucks.
only modern part of my dads jeep was it had rear seat belts for when me and my sister were young , other then that it was all restored to original. had the shovel and axe strapped to the side and a jerry can on the rear , still had the hole in the floor behind the front seats for where the machine gun went , would love to find another one for him to fix up oneday.

    Toranas
    Monaros,

    just lame shit like that.

although i remember my dad saying when he was a lot younger like 16-20 he had a mk2 escort panel van with suspension work and a cosworth engine or something along those lines.

My dad currently owns a XY GT replica. mild 351 Cleveland, Toploader, 9-inch etc. around 450hp

Over his years he's owned many cars, well over 50. Notably an HK GTS Monaro, wild 186 EH, Pontiac Parisienne, Lancia, VC Valiant with roof removed haha, Escort, Galaxie hardtop

Favourite would be his XA Falcon 500 coupe with worked 351, Toploader, 9-inch. Had 14x7 12 slots on front and 14x10s on rear. Had this when he started dating my mother, wouldn't pull up their driveway as it would shake the house haha

Heard some good stories of that thing destroying his mates bikes too..

my grandfather raced a variet of bugattis and era race cars, he had a riley and a few others, one of the better post war racers.

my fathers had many cars, memorable ones were a ford bedford van that he modified, had wide wheels and guards, lowered, some sort of engine conversion and stuff. He had an ford sierra cosworth,

at the moment he has a lotus 7 replica he made with a vvti sr20det blacktop and 6 speed, full s15 irs rear end with 2 way ect.

my brothers about 3/4 the way through building a full on trophy truck, he has also had a 600hp ls1 patrol that was used for racing, had twin winches, 39 inch baja claws, fox shocks all round, twin air lockers, full internal and external cages, cut into a ute ect.

my dad used to own a lotus europa back in the 70's. he wrote it off twice and fixed it both times.

he currently owns 2 Rolls-Royces both from 1976.
first is the silver shadow that used to be a govt car and so is delivered in royal burgundy with black vinyl roof. 6.75L v8 with 4spd auto.

the other is a phantom VI 20 feet long, 6 and a half wide. it's one mother of a car. 6.25L v8 with 3spd auto.

just realized i don't have any pics uploaded to the internets, will get some for you guys.

Old man used to have an EH wagon with a 351 etc. Also had a ski-boat with matching paint job pretty much towed behind it all the time. Was featured in a few magazines in it's time.

Saw some photos of it and it was fucking mad as!
