Default EOI: Toda 7age flywheel group buy

first, this has been approved by nick.

There seems to be some 7age's in the build but no one does a light weight fly for them. I recently was talking to xtreme clutch about them doing a run of light weight flywheels for a 7a/4ac. They currently do one for 4age (see pic) so they could theoretically make one for 7a/4ac. A 3.6kg 4age cro-moly fly from them is $450, while a one off 7a fly would be closer to $800.

So, would many people be interested in a light weight fly for their 7a? if i can spark some interest and get some rough numbers i can go to them and get some better prices.

    post your thoughts.

xtreme already have a listing of a 7a flywheel being a 4.1kg which sure as hell wasnt $800 when i priced them up

if not they also do a 3tc 4.3kg which will also fit perfectly fine

i've got a 3tc fly here and the bolt spacing is the same but the inside bore is slightly bigger. ie the bit that should sit snug on the crank. also the outside ring gear for the starter is slightly bigger. 3tc has 115teeth and 4ac 106teeth. tooth profile looks the same.

Edit: if they now make a 7age one since i rang them last, well that would be awesome. i will ring them tomorrow.

ive seen quite a few guys in the US and NZ using the 3tc one...namely the US due to the 3tc being quite a popular engine over there...

the listing of the 7age flywheel is pretty clear on the list...all i did was quote the part no when i rang up a local dealer a few months back...was definately available and definately wasnt 800

Extreme no longer sell the 7A Item, I called last week chasing a price.

I am VERY keen for either Toda or Extreme group buy!!!!!!!

Would like them to be 212mm though, not just a 4AC style 200mm item.

happy to do a group buy next month or later as ill be able to get the best prices for you guys then.

specs, as delazy said, the larger clutch size (some 7a's came with 200 others 212mm it seems). without checking i would expect it to be the same or very similar weight as a 4a version.
