It's registered til February, i'll probably end up scraping all the flaky clear off and leave it at that until I cbf painting it paint, and it's running, sort of. Shit in carby, timings out by a mile, half of the vaccuum hoses aren't hooked up right etc

Errrm....yeah, kinda didn't think of that
Gotta buy a hacksaw blade so I can cut the rubber part off the bumpstops, tried it with a grinder on one of my other cars and got black sticky shit all over the place

Bumpstops should just pull out, mine were just held into the body by a split plug

no i mean my car passed with cut bump stops (and zip tied front bar, different engine so number was different), near strait threw exhaust, non captive front springs, non padded steering wheel and a bunch of other detectable shit.

in Australia (Tasmania) so maybe that still doesnt count

    Japan still has defects.

Isn't Japanland like super strict? Non-standard=defect or some equally homo shit?

Anywho, I've had this back on the road for four days and already copped a defect
It's got the Fortrans on the front and a pair of my Hotwires on the back, 185/65 all round. It still sits high in the front but I'm buying a disc for the grinder on Monday so that will be done then, I have some springs from some sort of Volvo that will work nicely.
Gotta weld up a new tailpipe, I managed to tear the muffler open on a rock. Sounds like a truck
