Turns out that annoying rattle is most likely one of the big ends slowly crying enough. Strange, because it's intermittent and moves around all over the place, but still. Gives me an excuse to start building a high comp motor out of the numerous parts I have lying about
Although, given my previous form I won't be surprised if I get sick of it, say fuck it and start spending my money on piss and smokes again

Especially with this, i fix one thing, another comes up. And another. And another. And another. And so on and so forth. It's a never-ending cycle of headfuckery
Oh well. A mate of mine got rust repair stuff for me through his work of his own accord, so at least that'll be done. Dremel, weld, paint with POR-15, rinse, repeat on next spot. It'll look like an even bigger POS than it already does, what with patches of primer all over the place added to the already fucked paint, but it'll be a load off my mind.
Gonna go lower the front today.

lower doesnt nessesarly look better, not unless you have wheels to match it.

try and get some 14x7 hotwires and paint the centre all black then tell everyone they are ssr mesh.

Yeah, then sit back and watch with a smug smile as they all lol themselves to death
Nah, it's stock height at the front only, because it's got lowered springs out of an earlier model in the tail, so I was going to match heights to make it look somewhat less ghey. I don't actually have stock rear springs for it, they appear to have gone missing when I moved my shit from Dad's shed into the back of the old Corona wagon I have here for storage purposes

Someone REALLY needs to change the title of this thread, I wince every time I see it.

    New plans:
-My fortrans up front with a pair of 14x7's for the rear (yet to be decided, probably mesh of some sort)
-Camira shocks, 40mm cut down struts, chopped HD Falcon springs (front)
-TP Magna wagon shocks, chopped HD HQ-WB springs(rear)
    -Slotted rotors
    -Make shotgun pipes
    -Weld diff
    -Drive/skid

Yes, more plans. I'm sticking to these ones. It'll go ahead in small doses for a while because I'm a poor cunt, wheels will be the last to go on bar the guard work.

On another note, whilst crawling around under this trying to find the source of a clunking noise I've been hearing from the front suspension (turned out to be loose caliper bolts ) I discovered that it has polyurethane bushes for everything. LCA's, rear swingarms, rear shocks, swaybars, you name it it's poly. Which is cool, because it saves me at least $500

Sick of it. It's still busted, I cbf fixing it and besides it's rusty. So I'm going to use it as parts for this:

My other one. It's not rusty.
