Trd is no more hence the fact it is white and he has got no sponsers so that's wh he's selling.

    I assume.

    Suspension specs?

Nice car, I don't think anyone will pay more then like 25k-30k for it.

sad to see it go . i would personally keep it including the trd scheme. How many times in a lifetime do you get to say that you actually were sponserd by TRD . big fat 0.

but i guess for Beau Yates sake it a case of loose some to gain more later . good luck for whatever he chooses to do next .

car should be able to sell . Only thing is would it be compatible for other areas of motorsport?

I think this car is definately worth a lot of coin, unfortunately how many will have the spare coin lying around this car deserves.

I chatted to a owner/driver in the V8 Ute race series once. After a season of thrashing the car, he sold it to an American for close to $100,000, to be used for drift I assume. That was a few years ago when the Holden/Pontiac thing was new and the $US was way better.

Americans would love a RHD drift car, for D1 or whatever they call it. The problem now is the $US and the ecconomy in general.

Another problem is that rich people can't always drive that well, and if they buy a car like this they want to race. What series can it go in? Probably nothing but drift. As is the car could not go in tarmac rallys, or any rally, or IPRA. So it's just drift, hill climbs, supersprints etc.

    Wrong.

if you all refer to my intial post it does state why he is selling.

Sorry Marvis thats the only specs i know. it aint anything crazy quite simple and proven package of win.

Yer i agree with some of u this car needs to go overseas, Ireland, England or America is the only place it will get what it deserves and be treated like it should be

For those of you that didn't know, this is what she looked like back in the day. 20V 4AGE + Turbo. Was featured in HPI #53 then too.

I had a heap of pics of it at home from Indy 2006 in the GCG Turbo & Team PEER livery (and earlier Turbosmart) I don't think sponsorship is reason for sale, It has been offered for sale before too a couple years ago. (Beau mentioned taking it easy for a while)

Yates did well on his own before, I'm sure he can still impress new sponsors to back him. I think he's taken this 86 about as far as it can go. Time for a new project to push the envelope in DA series.
