Easy, found a set of F series handbrake cables so I'll grab them and get the ends swapped over.

I just worked out that F series mx13 diff and brakes into ae86 handbrake cables are ae86 S series. They fit perfect.

Also, from my current experience, there are numerous other things you can do to reco the mx13 drum system with other parts. Japlish told me that ra65 drums could be made to fit, and with a small step machined in them they fit perfectly to the older style backing plate.

Japlish also told me to use ae86 wheel cylinders to correct the hydraulic system, and that seems to be perfect too.

I bought shoes for an mx13 so thats original fit.

The rest are just the stock mechanical parts. Just clean and refit, and remember to grease where necessary.

All confirmed as accurate on my car, so peace.

ma45 f series disc's are available in aus, they are exactly the same as s13 rotors that people use but 1mm thicker and already have the correct centre hole, unlike the s13 rotors......

Youll need to get bearings to suit the lsd not the old centre

So....has anybody come up with a disk conversion for the f series? That's a reasonable size for anybody running 15's, that doesn't involve finding some hens tooth Toyota to raid parts from. I have the FD front calipers & disks up front, but don't see the point in running larger disks at the rear like some kits available at the moment.

Edit: This is available from the US -

And will work with a 7.5 inch rear end (F Series) but is probably oversized for what I need.

Or will an adjustable brake bias be able to sort it out?

Edit2: and pucker the anus because it's a good $1100 AUD by the time it lands here....maybe just do a couple of laps at Wakefield and bring it in? lol.

Yep i have. I used the T3 Kit minus but l got the calipers else where. The backing plates are 2 large and dont line up but Chris at Castle Hill Performance filled holes and redrilled to suit just picked them up them up today.

Its all at Craft getting put together and picking it up on monday / tuesday.

p.s didnt cost me that much all up under 800 but with integrated handbrake give alot more clearance etc
