Interested to see how you went. Any plans on selling a set of brackets? Or the cad file? Are you using any spacers behind the axle flange, or it just bolt on bracket, away you go?
Brackets need a 1.5mm step both sides to get the caliper offset right, that will get done next weekend (my bro snapped a belt on his cnc mill) so should be the week after.

Does the shock mount get moved

brake place had trouble sourcing new rotors because dba changed the part no so thats put me back.
yeah once i've proven it i'll get 5 sets made up.
no spacers whatsoever, but the plate does need machining around the axle flange area to get the offset of the caliper correct and make it so the bearing is not sitting further out.
The idea will be that's its a bolt on bracket, just add r31 or vr commo calipers and either 256mm s13 disk or 276mm pulsar disk (depending on bracket, there will be 2 types)
I haven't had to move my shock mount.
I'd be keen on a bracket pending price.

I've just sent the cad file away for the small disk bracket to get a pair made up.
Looking at the catalog the options will be a Pintara 258mm disc, 10mm thick DBA614 or s13 257mm disk, 9mm thick DBA904. The Pintara disc is slightly cheaper but the s13 disk is available in a slotted type.
The caliper sits behind the hub face by about 5mm so should still be able to put 14" wheels over top. depending on wheel design of course.
Well i've been dicked around by the brake shop but have a redrilled disk on there for the big disk version for now.
this is using vr commodore brakes. r31 will get test fitted next.
wheels are 14x7 0 offset te37s. ill be trying my 15" rotas and my mates 14" hoshino streets.
brakes are behind the hub face
plenty of shock clearance and a banjo fitting to replace that bulky commo line will make more room
5-7mm from the 14" wheels. i will move the calipers inwards another 4mm to make even more room for this version. the small version will have about 15mm more room.
hub centric ring holds the disk in the middle. i just need to either source or machine thinner ones
Would you know the piston size of VR commo caliper?

38.5mm same as r31.
R31 calipers have more clearance than commodore ones and the fins can be ground down to make even more clearance. brake pads have slightly different mounting but the same surface area.
