There is no reason why it wouldn't.

At the most you'd have to switch the flexplates over.

That is however assuming it's come out of the same family vehicle. If not you may have to switch over some other external gear, such as the selector arm.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

I do believe some if not all AE86 autos came as a 4spd, where as the AE70 would be a 3 spd.

If you need a good box I've got an AE71 auto box here with 100,000ks on it that ran beautifully, shifted so well.

i think i remember someone said a k4/50 would bolt up to the 3a.
i might do a few measurements tonight cause ive got a whole manual convertion for a ke70 here

or mabey they use a t50 with a k50 bell cant remember? i do know they have a cable clutch though.

so does anyone know what manual box the 3a-u came out with?
and i do belive it has the same set up as an ae85.

(oh and thanks for the offer golberg but im located in sa bit far to drive for an auto lol cheers anyways though.)

K50's don't have seperable bell housings.

A T50 will bolt straight up to a 3A-U. Infact if you look at any ADM T50 it'll say 3A on the top of the bell housing.

There is a K50 which also fits a 3A-U, but it must be from a car with a 3A-U originally. I.e AE85 or AE70 manual. Yes they have a cable clutch.

Shipping isn't that big a deal man if you want mine, I work at a wreckers and we ship big stuff all the time. Much bigger than a corolla auto box.
