Default identify these 2 flywheels ?

    Car - spoon car

    motor - 4age

    use - na

    problem - flywheel

    occurs/started when - now

    personal situation -

hey guys got these 2 flywheels at first i thought they were the same but snooping around i found differences between the 2. "A" i am told that it is a 200mm bigport and "B" no idea but i think it may be a 212mm or 215mm from measurements smallport? jst need confirmation. searched up a few pictures on both some came up swtiched so didnt help me

here are the photos there are distinct differences between the 2 as edited in the photos...B seems to be bigger (in diameter) from A but my dad says their the same size so im puzzled which is which

these are factory ones so i would guess either 200 or 212 i dnt remeber factory ones being 215? im not sure im puzzled cant work it out please help

A has 2 big holes B has 2 smaller ones
A has 3 drilled bits B has 5 drilled bits

    A has 5 holes B has 3 holes

    B seems longer then A

A is not equal to B

where am i measuring exactly from to find out why size clutch to buy? i've done it but maybe wrong?

last pic is the correct way to measure since that is the clutch plate surface you want. you can use either one . what ever it measure up to either 200 or 212 buy the clutch kit to suit.

both flywheel would have the same outer diameter since all na 4age share the same outer diameter.

edit: 1st pic. those drill marks have been done to balance the flywheel and the larger holes again imo are for also balancing. smaller holes closest to the out side looks like locating pins for the pressure plate that must been taken out to accommodate whatever clutch kit is ran before.

oh tip: what ever one you decide to use .take the choosen flywheel it to the shop you are buying your clutch from and make sure the pressure plate fit/ lines up with the what ever locating pins that are on the flywheel. or they will need to be taken out and readjusted. shop can do that for you aswell.

from my experience with the different flywheels,
From the picture of the view from the side of each,

'B' is a smallport NA flywheel or silvertop 20V

and if 'A' is 212mm it's last of the bigports,
    and if it's 200mm it's early bigport rwd 4AGE.

redsprinter - will do when i go buy the clutch needs to be ordered tho but yea il see if i can get it done by them

dx20vt - well A to me seems to be a bigport 200mm from rough measurements its 203mm

and B seems to be a smallport 212mm from rough measurements 215mm

but im not 100% jst need confirmation before i go buying a clutch kit

il get pictures up 2moro of where im measuring from, from both of them and we'll see if anyone else can help me but from the pics above that is "B" and it reads 215mm

Going off the 2nd last picture A is to suit 200mm clutch, B is for 212mm clutch you can tell this by the 212mm flywheel extending to similar diameter as the ring gear.

well now that is sorted i need to order a clutch......ill be using B.....had a look at the exedy clutch finder thing and ae86 comes with a 200mm clutch...i can order a ae82(jap) ae92 or ae93 and it has the 212mm clutch but i am told the thrust bearing wont fit bcuz their fwd ?

so anybody ordered a clutch with everything in it perfect for a 212mm smallport? i.e clutch plate, pressure plate thurst bearing etc etc?
