Hello all ,thought it was about time i put up a build thread on my 86.
I swapped my trusty rusty datto 1600 for this trusty unrusted sprinter ,it had a bigport 4age in it but not long after owning it shit went downhill ,so i then purchased my 4agze. i finally pulled my finger out of my ass the other day and started converting the gze to rwd using most parts from my 4age.
Engine:
- ae101 4agze
- extractors
- 2 1/4" exhaust
- LT10s microtech
- microtech x4 ignition module
- intercooler
- aluminium radiator
- exedy HD puk clutch
-1g starter motor
Suspension:
- coilovers( random unknow jap ones)
- ajps rear springs
- t3 camber tops
- trd shocks
- whiteline front/rear swaybars
- ajps pandard rod
- t3 rca's
- willwood front brakes
Interior:
- stripped from behind front seats
- luisi steering wheel
- cusco gearknob
- jdm one peice doortrims
- microtech hand controller
- cusco half cage
Exterior:
-16x8 rota grids
- redline taillights
- zenki lip
Diff:
- Jdm disc T series
- TRD 2way
- braided lines
Engine bay has just been painted and now all starting to come back together.

got a new spigot bearing today and also new oil filter.
best part was a mate of mine had bought an sc12 off here awhile back and came with the outlet pipe made for rwd so swapped my stock one for his , so now the motor is nearly all rwd. just gotta paint the rest of the engine bay and its ready to go in.
Cleaned up and fitted.
done my alt bracket today hopefully it works all good , need to cut off old tabs and such off the standard ac/alt bracket that arnt being used and give it a tidy up.
ordered my microtech today , it should be here nxt week hopefully , also should be getting a new clutch then its just about time to all go back in.
Looking good man good to see its coming along.
Nice car mate, the conversion looks like its coming along well.
