Default AE101 GZE into JDM AE86 - Wiring question

I'm currently swapping a 4AGZE off of a AE101 into a JDM AE86 and I ran into some problems when I started on the wiring.

From what I can tell, there are 4 plugs on the engine loom that runs into the interior. 2 of them plug into the ECU just fine but then There are 2 plugs that I don't recognize:

I was able to get a look at a 101 body loom and found where they go:

BUT, I have no idea what they do and where they go. More importantly, I have no idea how to incorporate them into the 86 loom to get everything to work.

Does anyone have an idea as to how to approach this?

    Those plugs you will find:

    Temp gauge
    Oil pressure
    Reverse lights
    Starter motor
    Ignition
    EFI main
    Fuel pump relay wires
    a/c wires

You will also need to extend your loom unless you plan on routing it where the heater is.

    Thanks for the info!

Is there a pin-out diagram for those connectors somewhere?

    not really.

Toyota wiring colours are pretty consistant in what they are for, for example the temp and oil pressure wires are always yellow/green and yellow/black respectively. You should be able to figure it out using other diagrams from other available models.

^^ I agree. An AE86 wiring diagram and an AE92 GZE wiring diagram should sort out almost all wiring uncertainties.

Also if I were in your shoes, I'd strip back the entire loom while you have it out and accessible, then build up a loom of exactly what you need running where you need it. It will take a while, but then you'll have a loom which is routed in a smart way and that doesn't have all sorts of extra useless crap in it.

    Thanks all!

I'll probably be able to get my hands on the rest of the loom this weekend so I'll see how it goes from there.
