    Using correct grammar helps.

But from what i can gather.

You have a Ca18 ae86 and you want to know if you need to change mounts to put the SR in?

Well many variables. It depends how the previous owner did the conversion. Is it an s13 cross member, or ae86 one modified. or stock cross member with modified engine mounts.
    This information will help.

have a look at what rubber mounts are used. if they look generic square ones then im going to say you cant do a straight swap.

in the long run it would be best to make your own engine mounts, then you can have the motor sit how u like.

Wont there be issues with the tunnel if a SR box is used?

Sam, why do you say use the CA box? SR and CA both use W71C missions, as do RWD R32 with these being 5cm shorter. Maybe marvis has a point if the clutch/flywheel area is bigger but I don't imagine them being much different.

CA/Sr boxes are the same, with different belhousings and apparently different 5th gear ratio.

Rb20 box is shorter, allows the motor to sit fairly far back and sit about 3-6cm futher back from the stock hole. You need to put the SR bellhousing on the RB box for it to work.

Re do your mounts and make the motor/box sit how you want.
