spotless dude!
Nice overhaul man, real nice..
Weight:
I measured my car, 1000kg with me in it. So minus me, my lunch, and a few other bits and pieces my car as wieghed is 920.85kg.
car as weighed: 920kg
full body, all glass and steel
fully functioning everything, rear wiper, heater etc
no spare tyre
no jack or tools
stock reclining passanger seat
roll cage
washer bottle full
fuel tank full
14" alloy wheels
So even with the rollcage and full steel/glass body, it could easily be 900kg with 1/4 tank of fuel or by deleting a few options like rear wiper and passanger seat. (Assuming the scales are right).
Man thats light, do you run any FRP or carbon panels?
No FRP or carbon at all. ~100% original AE86 + roll cage. No interia. Except I have a fibreglass race seat. Some of the suspension is heavier than the original.
Next thing would be to get rid of the stock passanger seat. If I had time I would copy some steel brackets in aluminium. I would like to get a light bonnet but it's not allowed in serious events I'm aiming for. I may never have money to race so I may go ahead and get that.
Jonny I run TRD blues all round and rate them highly, when they fail, I'll replace witht the same. If your on a budget, Yellow fronts and blue rears work nicely together, I ran that set up for years, infact when I fitted the blue front's I ended up running them on setting 3, which is nearly line ball with the yellow non adjustable setting.
