i very highly doubt it.
fix it properly?
just got defected today..for width and height..so its regency..
now ive been through all this b4 and had a full car inspection and got double defected then eventually got off..
(refer to picture)
now since that my heater/cooler bit has broken and i have installed a tap as u can see in the picture..now this means i can't change settings from hot to cold on my dials in my car but by simply turning the tap on or off i can choose hot or cold air...the dimister fans all work and will come out hot if tap is on...
its not like the dimister doesn't work its fine just u get stuck with either hot or cold so its not a safety hazard..
so what im wondering is this regency approved would anyone know?
i very highly doubt it.
fix it properly?
make sure its on heat though
as soon as they see zip ties your gone, zip ties = sick drifter
No, Regency wants a working heater if fitted.
Also if it's not operable from the cabin, it will fail.
Fix your shit properly or risk getting double-defected again.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
it can be controlled by cabin u can change fan speed and just noticed u can slide the hot and cold dial and it changes.
last time he only slid his hand near window till air came out but it didn't but does now.
well you cant be too worried about passing then.
just fix it properly. go get a new tap, bolt it on, plug two hoses on and a couple of wire cables.
voila.
then u wont have the stigma of cable ties and other messy unnecessary stuff lying about your engine bay making it easy for the inspector to go nope, u fail sir.
do it once, do it right. probably not what u want to hear but its the truth.
hangon i dont understand??
how else do you fix something if you dont use cable ties? i was under the impression they fix everything!!

If they cant, race tape and a hammer will.
Regency dont have a problem with zipties, if they're being used to make shit neater like cabling etc. not for holding jerry-rigged shit together.
As javal said.... get it fixed properly, why take the risk?
It's bad enough you're going in with a corolla to begin with. They'll already be on the lookout, so your shit better be tight.
Go over the whole car, fix whatever you think needs to be fixed, then get another couple of people to go over it to pick up shit you've missed. Make sure it's all cleaned, no leaks, all your lights and shit work blah blah blah.
In short, the answer to your question is... fix it properly, or prepared to be raped.
