Launceston = Home of the surprise sodomist!!
hahahahahahahahaha
man didnt take a step with out legs
still, atleast you didnt blow it up like one person on here. An oil cooler is an oil cooler. Most are bar and plate now for durability, the only thing i would be worried about if i got a kit was the quality of the lines. Old generic ebay shit didnt even have oil rated rubber lines under the braid, the lasted like 5 mins befor pluging the motor up with chunks of big baby yak.
yeah ill keep all the lines and shit.... they are the real deal, but just punched a hole in he top when i was mounting the thing
all sweet, ordered and on the way.
once it stops spitting oil at me, ill get some pics and a vid going
should be ready for a wheel alignments and skill testing by new years
told ya id make it chickens

hah, knew it would be my fault somehow. I thought 4 branches down the loom with a coil pack out each branch 1-2-3-4 would be self explanatory enough
yeah ant it totally was i was just being too tricky and tired when i fitted em
was too busy making them tidy and fit the way i thought they would rather than think how they SHOULD go
in my defence though the injectors i got mixed up - they are the same length cable from the same place
all good just glad i found my stupidity before wasting your time
anyone have any suggestions on how to "balance" quads.
i get that its meant to make all the throttle plates open evenly, but how do i know they are doing that? and whats the best way to go about it?
hey ant, whats the suggestion on exhaust size? was going to run a 100 cfm cat, a hotdog and a varex muffler - the varex cos i really wanna hit up lakeside and mt cotton, both have strict noise regs from what i understand...
was going to go 2 1/2 inch mandrel over diff... too small?

first if they have been removed from teh factory manifold or if the throttle plate stop screws have been moved you will need to adjust the throttle stops so as to be all the same,
in general terms..
-back them all off so not touching throttle levers
-screw them in by hand or small screw driver until theyre only just touching
- turn them all evenly say 1/2 turn in ( approx guesstimate)
now all the throttles should be in the same resting position
next you will need to balance the air bleed screws this may be a case of counting the turns out eg:
wind them all the way in then screw them all out 1 turn at a time untill desired idle speed is met,
this wont be an exact way of doing it but should be pretty close
you could also get technical with a vacuum guage or just listen to each port to adjust air bleeds evenly
hope this is helpful
