for those that want to know. i used 1k ohm resistors in the g1 and g2 signal wires.
looks like it cleaned the siganl up heaps.
now bouncing off 8,500 happily
engine:86 with 20v running adaptronic
problem:unable to rev past 7k
does anyone have the diagram or know the size of the resistors to put in the g1 and g2 reset lines of the CAS?
cheers

This is interesting. I am just starting to tune my own Adaptronic now. Is this required for every adaptronic/20v ?
it seems just for some 20v CAS
it showed up as a misfire at around the 7k mark. it wasnt a fuel issue as the a/f ratio went very rich. but noticed the ecu was reading fine to 6.5k/7k then all of a sudden 4k at wot.
so would have to be the signal coming from the cas. anthony mentioned to me that some 20v CAS are high output and to put resistors in g1 and g2. so not sure what size i started with 1k ohm resistors in each. the reason i started with this is because wolf ecu's did the same thing and their fix was 1k ohm resistors to clean the signal.
it worked now the car revs to ecu rev cut everytime
also spoke to rob at adaptronic today and was told that the latest software will fix this issue. no resistors needed however you need to use a custom trigger configuration and choose toyota as the special trigger setup on the custom configuration screen
Was it like a strong misfire? I have heaps of issues with mine right now. So the G1 and G2 from the CAS to the ECU right, just between them? so just one 1/4W resister?

yeah just a 1k ohm resistor .25w. fixed the issue straight out.
g1 and g2. i got the idea from when wolf's did the same thing. it was a strong misfire enough to stop the car from revving.
ok I am going to try it, if it works I want to reward you for it
