middle photo is of the sky yes.
I think the top two work well as a set for sure, don't know if that was your intention though, if it was they're all sweet! But I think you could have come away with a really epic photo if the second one had have been a fair bit tighter/closer with shorter DOF, would've been great with that background, composition and the snow flicking up around the boarder but then again I don't know what lense/s you had on hand and how you could have dealt with the glare of the snow so hard to say you 'could/should' have done anything different.
