It's funny how things change, when I got my 86(16 years ago BEFORE Initial D) an *E7* was just a POS mum/grandma used, would never consider it AT ALL. But I guess guys are starting to mod Corona's etc!! So I guess you buy what you can afford.

i was stirring shit about initial d. i have never even seen it. just the movie a couple of months ago. haha.

86s are getting harder to find. there are plenty out there just depends on how much you like them. for most people they are not prepared to spend more than 5k on one because the only reason they wanted one in the first place because they thaught it would be a cheap alternative to a skyline ect.

For sure a young lad who may have an apprenticeship for example, really hasn't got alot of cash to throw around yet wants to get into having some fun etc, *e7* is a cheap way to start off and atleast get a RWD small car.

i dident watch inital d till after i bought my ae86, if i watched it before i would have bought one earlier ha ha best cartoon ever!

yes ae86s are more expensive to buy at first but as they get harder and harder to find in good condition there price will keep going up. I had a valiant charger for 5 years and when i sold it i made money on it and it still needed alot of work. Im hoping the 86 will be the same when they are 30+ years old

just cant see that happening with the *e7*

saying that this is a young crowd that are into these cars. i would rather see the youngsters spend 5 grand on a e7 and learn about cars and modify it than spend 5 gs on a sprinter and not be able to enjoy pulling it apart and slapping cool parts on.

Aside from looks, surely there isn't a great deal of difference once the cars have been setup.

    AE86's look better

You show me a good looking *E7* and I'll show you(actually I'll get the Kid Karola too) a BETTER looking 86 and that can't be disputed

oh and realisticly, ke's with decent parts are using same crap as an 86 anyway so not really better in availability unless ur gna use the stock interior or something ? suspension and engine normally goes out the window if u want something decent.
